The OTC Tire Pressure Monitor Kit is designed to be a complete,
universal kit covering vehicles with Tire Pressure Monitoring System
(TPMS). The OTC-3833 is loaded with NEW 2008 Software. The
software contains a vehicle entry system for easy and accurate access
to the correct interface for a vehicle.

Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems have become increasingly
popular on cars and trucks since early 2000, and is mandatory
on vehicles manufactured after September 2007!

The monitor has a graphical interface that allows use of the tool with little or no
knowledge of TPMS. The manual contains critical reset procedures, along with all
system information, including torque specifications and wiring diagrams.

Resetting a tire pressure monitor system is likely required if any of the following procedures are performed on a vehicle:

  • Tire pressure correction(s)
  • Tire / wheel rotation
  • Tire / wheel replacement
  • Wheel electronic unit replacement
  • Receiving antenna replacement
  • Control unit replacement
  • Loss of battery power

The Tire Pressure Monitor contains a simple-to-use interface. Once the vehicle’s Make, Model & Year are entered, the user is provided with the ability to reset or diagnose the TPMS.
  • If a RESET PROCEDURE is selected, the monitor directs the user to the correct section of the manual for the vehicle entered. In most cases, the tool is used in conjunction with the reset procedure.
  • If DIAGNOSTICS is selected, data for troubleshooting the TPMS can
be obtained by using the monitor to activate the sensors and inspect the
    transmitted data.

Features Include:

  • Displays sensor data, such as ID and pressure.
  • Updateable via serial cable to PC to keep up with changing vehicle requirements.
  • Maintains "last vehicle" use history.
  • Three "C" batteries provide hours of continuous use. (Auto shutdown is after three minutes of inactivity.)
  • Select English, Spanish or French Monitor tool on-screen directions
